La Torreta, Puçol

The 14th century Talaia Tower, known locally as La Torreta, is located in the very heart of the old part of town. It is thought to be the oldest house in the area and was built as a watchtower to protect the town from possible attacks. The Moorish-style tower was built from stone, tiles and adobe.
